I have decided to divide my links area into two sections. The section
below contains links to psychology websites that I find useful for
keeping up with the field. To the left of it, you will find an eclectic
list of websites that I think are interesting or useful - sites that I
consider the "Best of the Web". I will continue to add to the
lists of links, so please check back from time to time!

Cognitive Therapy (ACT)

The Academy of Cognitive Therapy, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1998 by a group of leading clinicians, educators, and researchers in the field of cognitive therapy. As part of its mission, the Academy supports continuing education and research in cognitive therapy, provides a valuable resource in cognitive therapy for professionals and the public at large, and actively works towards the identification and certification of clinicians skilled in cognitive therapy. Certification is awarded to those individuals who, based upon an objective evaluation, have demonstrated an advanced level of expertise in cognitive therapy. The Academy includes physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals from around the world. To date, there are over 600 Members of the Academy.

Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)

Psychology serves the public need by providing oversight certifying psychologists competent to deliver high quality services in various specialty areas of psychology. Board certification (awarding of a Diploma in a specialty) assures the public that specialists designated by the ABPP have successfully completed the educational, training, and experience requirements of the specialty, including an examination designed to assess the competencies required to provide quality services in that specialty.
